Hope you all have some lovely plans for Easter! I am kicking it with the ol' house, making early preparations for the Easter bunny... while Mr Husband is getting his wiggles out in Moab, UT. Luckily, he'll be back in time to find some lovely surprises in his basket: (.... don't worry, I'm sure some sweet treats will also find their way into the mix).
We hand painted these hollowed-out eggs with acrylic paint, and then lacquered over them to get the satiny polish. We used the help of a utility knife to scratch the patterns into the striped Ombre Egg and the Lightning Egg.
Do you color Easter Eggs? What methods do you use?
Traditional dyes? Organic methods? Hand painted? Decopage?
