MORE FROM LAS VEGAS

Happy Monday!

I hope you are enjoying the weather! After a long winter, and a fluke bit of summer, we are finally enjoying spring!! I have absolutely loved the thunderstorms and buckets of rain!!! I had a loooooong, busy weekend, but am finally getting back into the swing of things this morning. Here's a bit of inspiration from last week's Expo in Las Vegas, that got me rolling. Enjoy!

Have a great week!

SAN ANTONIO SAFARI

Welcome to a new week friends!

I have a special treat today!!! (Prepare for a little sensory overload). Husband and I recently returned from fabulous San Antonio. One of many highlights was the the African Safari we went on! We learned that the climate in Texas is quite a bit like the climate in parts of Africa, so many African animals can thrive in Texas. The animals were surprisingly curious and friendly. ...of course they knew we had food...

Please enjoy some of our favorite shots from the expedition.

We started with domestic animals, and got progressively more exotic.

TEXAS STYLE

NOTE: The following images are not what you'd expect to see when you're thinking of Texas Style. :)

I just got back from a FABULOUS trip to San Antonio!!! While my pals here in Utah were stoking their fires... I was having fun in the sun, barbecuing, line dancing, flea marketing, going on safari (!) and the like! There are so many awesome pictures to come, but let me start with a taste of the coast!

Welcome to Corpus Christi and Port Aransas! We took a little drive to the beach town, and rode the ferry to Mustang Island. We watched dolphins swim alongside the boat, and let the salty air blow through our hair. We got to sun-bathe, body surf, collect shells, and just enjoy being on the beach! Of course, my favorite part was enjoying the architecture!! I fell in love with the fresh colors and homes on stilts!!!!

Enjoy some of the great finds!

I don't think I've ever seen a neighborhood that was quite so cheery & yummy!

Ciao,
Stacie

FIELD TRIP

We were fortunate to go on a little field trip to Krieger-Ricks Framemakers today! (Check out those doors!!!) They are located in sweet Springville City, UT; which is perfect for a framing shop, because Springville is known as Art City. (So cool!)
